I've been spending some time with wordpress while setting up my mothers new website. She wants to make it do all sorts of fancy things and she doesn't want to learn html or have to deal with php. So this past weekend I celebrated my 23rd birthday. I had a lot of fun.
Normally I plan a party like this.
1) Pick a day (and forget to tell people right away)
2) Find a venue (my house, your house, whatever)
3) Add people
4) Add music
5) Add beer

So I've got Jury duty. I went in expecting a big waste of time and came out with an expected 3 weeks of trial.
Three weeks,
Seriously, three weeks I'm going to be in court evaluating a murder case.
That's one week less then a month.
I'll have my current job, and I should be able to do work after jury duty. But.. This is like a temporary career change. I'm not even sure what to make of it.
